Police Report - 03/29/2012

Fort Plain Police Department

• Timothy Pimkowski, Jr., 18, of 223 Main Street, Fort Plain, was arrested on March 11, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Pimkowski was arrested after a complaint he was operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was issued an appearance ticket for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and is to appear at the Minden Town Court at a later date.

• Bernard Harringshaw, 72, of 80 Reid Street, was arrested March 13, charged with having an unlicensed dog.

Harringshaw was arrested after he failed to show adequate documentation in regards to his dog being licensed. Harringshaw is to appear in the Minden Town Court at a later date.

• A 13-year-old Fort Plain juvenile was arrested on March 14, charged with criminal possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. He was arrested for stealing items from the Fort Plain Junior/Senior High School.

Montgomery  County Court

• Jason Ouderkirk, 43, of 65 Lafayette St., Palatine Bridge, was sentenced to six months in county jail and five years of probation requiring participation in drug court. Ouderkirk pleaded guilty in September 2011 to a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

• Amanda A. Cotton, 34, of 106 Keeslers Road, Fort Plain, was sentenced to five years of probation requiring drug court, ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, and to install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle. She pleaded guilty in September 2011 to felony DWI with a child in the vehicle.
