Thanksgiving is next week, and you'd think it was going to be Christmas already, everything being holiday focused everywhere you go. From music, to food, to decorations -- I'm even starting to see lights pop up on homes -- Christmas is out in full force.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office

-- Garry Leon Sweet III, 34, of 11 Old Meadow Road, St. Johnsville, was charged with petit larceny after allegedly exiting the Walmart store with a cart full of merchandise in the town of Amsterdam. Sweet was escorted back into the store, but then fled, according to deputies. Sweet was later located and arrested. He was issued an appearance ticket for Amsterdam Town Court.
