Both the Canajoharie and Fort Plain central school districts recently had conversations regarding the possibility of holding a voluntary exit poll after the budget votes on Tuesday, May 21, asking residents whether they'd like to pursue a merger study between the two districts. Although CCSD decided not to hold the poll, it was still a distinct possibility as of Wednesday morning that FPCSD might.

St. Johnsville Police Department

-- Misty-Dawn Souza, 23, of St. Johnsville, was arrested on April 28, charged with one count of petit larceny following a stolen property complaint. She is accused of stealing a tablet computer from another person. She was processed and released with an appearance ticket, ordered to appear in the Village of St. Johnsville Court at a later date.
